Here is a collection of songs S.O.5 recorded and performed in various showcases, mall tours, school tours, and everywhere else they could gain exposure. OG fans who had been there with them from the very beginning will remember these songs very fondly. Many of the songs were pretty experimental. And they were all written by the members, except for “Stay with Me” and “You’ll Never Stand Alone,” originally performed by DeBarge and Whitney Houston, respectively. All 11 tracks were packaged as an independent mixtape and released digitally and physically on February 13, 2016 under the name “OMED” (which is demo spelled backwards), released through OttMusic, another trademarked label. Thanks, TJ!

And below is a breakdown of who sang what in each song.

----------------------------------

Track 1: Comin’ Atcha! (https://youtu.be/YtBWY2-2w6E?si=HB7sNZVZu-rJwAzd)

The origin-mission statement. This is S.O.5 kicking the door open—not with arrogance, but with certainty. The song is basically: “Write our name down. We’re serious. We’re here to work. We’re not letting fame break us or change us.” It’s the kind of early boy-band anthem that’s less “we’re the best” and more “we’re together,” which is why it hits. Even the bridge sounds like a vow: “no matter what happens, we’ll live on,” implying that while they can’t promise that they’ll stay an active group forever, they will always be discovered by future generations, even after they die. Marcel has the most dominant presence on this song for someone who’s mainly ad-libbing and leading the latter half of the bridge (“but until then, we’re here to stay”), and his vocal contributions become the most repeated and (many years later) TikTok-worthy moments that are never forgotten, especially by fans who were there from the very beginning. Wally sings the first verse, Cyrus leads the first pre-chorus and ad-libs the first chorus, Oscar sings the second verse, TJ leads the second pre-chorus and ad-libs the second chorus. And together the group sings portions of the pre-chourses, as well as the choruses, intro, and the first half of the bridge (“No matter what happens, we’ll live on”).

[INTRO: Marcel (Spoken: S.O.5) {Spoken: TJ}]

Hey, ho-woah-oh-oh

Let me hear you say it

(We’re comin’ at ya!)

{Come on!}

[BREAK: S.O.5]

Comin' atcha, comin' atcha

Comin' atcha, comin' atcha

Comin' atcha, comin' atcha

Comin' atcha, comin' atcha

[VERSE 1: Wally (S.O.5)]

Get a pen and paper, write down our name

You will realize our aim is the same

(As the others)

We all have that dream to make it to the top

When we do we know we're never gonna stop

[PRE-CHORUS 1: S.O.5 (Wally) {Cyrus}]

Be together (Oooh) Last forever (hey-yay)

{Our minds will stay the same}

[VERSE 2: Oscar (S.O.5)]

We need education to get us to the ranks

We've no time to play those silly little pranks

(So we're saying)

Please don't try to change the person you are

Keep on dreamin' that you'll be a shining star

[PRE-CHORUS 2: S.O.5 (Oscar) {T.J.}]

Hey, we're here (Oh)

Fresh new talent's here and we know (Come on now)

We're never gonna go, we’re comin’ atcha (Hey)

We know the way to move, so we're gonna (Gonna)

We're gonna blow the roof

Gonna blow it

(We’re comin’ at ya!)

{Come on!}

[BRIDGE: S.O.5 (Marcel) (Spoken: S.O.5) {Spoken: TJ}]

No matter what happens

We’ll live on

(But until then…)

(We’re here… TO STAY!)

[CHORUS: S.O.5 (ad-libs: Marcel)]

Hey, we're here

Fresh new talent's here and we know

We're never gonna go, we’re comin’ atcha

Track 2: Life Ain’t Easy (https://youtu.be/5YfyQwEcml8?si=A20Ck2NT0EzXRyMn)

This is a sixth-grade protest song with a huge heart. Wally’s verse is about witnessing suffering and asking uncomfortable questions—why people ignore the hungry, why the world moves past pain. Cyrus answers with urgency: life is short, so do something right now. The chorus is basically a call-out and a call-in: don’t just listen—take it in. It’s S.O.5 declaring early that they want purpose in their music, not just vibes. Wally leads the first verse and second chorus, while Cyrus leads the rest of the song – giving it his all, using his pain as inspiration.

[CHORUS 1: S.O.5]

Life ain't easy

Gonna change

Don't just listen

Think about it, life ain't easy

[VERSE 1: Wally]

When I see those people sitting hungry in the street

I put myself in their shoes, finding safer places to sleep

People just walk past them when they know there's something wrong

When all I want to know is why this whole thing's going on because

[CHORUS 2: S.O.5 (Wally)]

Life ain't easy

(And how we are is)

Gonna change

(And make this world a better place)

Don't just listen (Oh)

(You gotta take it in)

Think about it

(And then we can begin)

Life ain't easy

[VERSE 2: Cyrus]

Life don't last forever and forever isn't long

So take a chance in life at the moment you can hear this song

No use just thinking about what tomorrow brings

You've got to lift your head up high and do the right thing because

[CHORUS 2: S.O.5 (Cyrus)]

Life ain't easy

(And how we are is)

Gonna change

(And make this world a better place)

Don't just listen (Oh)

(You gotta take it in)

Think about it

(And then we can begin)

Life ain't easy

[BRIDGE: S.O.5 (Cyrus)]

Life ain't easy (Ohhh-woah)

(Oh, no, no, no)

It ain't easy

It ain't easy

(What I'm telling you is…)

[CHORUS 1: S.O.5 (ad-libs: Cyrus)]

Life ain't easy

Gonna change

Don't just listen

Think about it, life ain't easy

[BREAK: S.O.5 (Cyrus)]

Life, just ain't easy (It ain't easy)

Oh, life just ain't easy (No, life ain't easy)

Life just ain't easy (TAKE IT IN!)

Oh, life just ain't easy

Life

Track 3: Me (https://youtu.be/SYQuW-DwUWY?si=z1YPKtUP3K6n2Qp-)

The “I survived myself” self-love breakthrough. A self-love song… by a boyband… about boys loving themselves. Chef’s kiss. This song is the internal version of “Life Ain’t Easy.” It’s not about fixing the world; it’s about finally forgiving yourself. Wally and Cyrus both narrate a shift from moping, anger, defensiveness, and needing to prove something… into peace. The hook is radical in its simplicity: “I’m just me, I’m enough.” It’s the type of song that becomes a fanbase mantra because it gives you language for healing without sounding corny. Wally leads the first verse and first pre-chorus, while Cyrus takes over the second verse and second pre-chorus, and ad-libs during the second chorus. Oscar, TJ, and Marcel each take turns singing the post-chorus. And Wally ad-libs during the rest of the song.

[VERSE 1: Wally]

My heart's jumpin'

God, I'm feelin' open

Spent a long time mopin'

Get a load of me, feelin' free

No pain no more

No blockin' up my own door

All anger out my back door

God, it's good to see

[PRE-CHORUS: Wally]

Life

Got kinda hard, I faced it

Fought and cried and almost gave in

All negative forces faded

Love of me just walked right in

[CHORUS: S.O.5]

I'm just me, I'm enough

With myself I'm in love

I've been weak, I've been low

Made me strong, now I know

I'm just me, I'm enough

Nothin' less, nothing more

I wish everybody could just feel this kind of love

[POST-CHORUS 1: Oscar]

Feels good, feels fine

Feels good, yeah

[VERSE 2: Cyrus (S.O.5)]

My mind's older

Chip's fallen off my shoulder

All need to prove is over

Good enough for me

Found willingness

Found will to be courageous

No need to feel defenseless

(Peace)

[PRE-CHORUS: Cyrus]

Life

Got kinda hard, I faced it

Fought and cried and almost gave in

All negative forces faded

Love of me just walked right in

[CHORUS: S.O.5 (ad-libs: Cyrus)]

I'm just me, I'm enough

With myself I'm in love

I've been weak, I've been low

Made me strong, now I know

I'm just me, I'm enough

Nothin' less, nothing more

I wish everybody could just feel this kind of love

[POST-CHORUS 2: TJ]

Feels good, feels fine

Feels good

HEY-YEAH-YEAH-YEAH

[POST-CHORUS 3: Marcel]

Feels good, feels fine

Feels good

WOOOO!!!

[CHORUS: S.O.5 (ad-libs: Marcel)]

I'm just me, I'm enough

With myself I'm in love

I've been weak, I've been low

Made me strong, now I know

I'm just me, I'm enough

Nothin' less, nothing more

I wish everybody could just feel this kind of love

Track 4: Blue (https://youtu.be/2nUD6LEedE8?si=tTEVk5i7GS5Hm-_f)

This Latin-infused electropop song was written ENTIRELY by Oscar. It’s a betrayal anthem about a fake friend chasing clout, but it also loosely takes inspiration from the abandonment that Oscar faced from his birth parents, not that the fans were aware. Oscar starts it like a journal entry: he clocked the person’s “colors” from the start, but the betrayal still stings. The song drips with boundary-setting. It’s not heartbreak—it’s disgust. This person disappears when you’re down, reappears when you’re up, copies you, tries to use your name and your crowd, then acts confused when you cut them off. “Blue” is basically S.O.5 teaching middle schoolers how to recognize a user. Oscar leads the first and second verses. And Wally and Cyrus each lead a pre-choruses. Wally and TJ do their iconic call and response rap during the bridge while Oscar ad-libs beneath the two rappers, and Marcel handles the ad-libs of the second chorus, double chorus. But this is still Oscar’s song.

[INTRO: Oscar]

Hey-yeah… oh

Mmm…

[VERSE 1: Oscar]

I guess I saw through you, I've seen your colors, blue

Trying to join me when I'm on top, observing what I do

But then you weren't around, I was down and in the ground

Do you remember? Shut your mouth, don't wanna hear your sound

Don't you try it, I'm not so forgetful, your colors are rather dull

It's never gonna be that picture that you want of being seen

[PRE-CHORUS: S.O.5 (Wally)]

Blue

(That's all you do, play with people's minds)

(Two-faced, I wasn't blind)

Blue

(You are a fool cause you lost me)

(I thought that we were cool)

[CHORUS 1: S.O.5]

Blue and that is deep, I can't be asked

Blue and that is you, and that's too long

Blue, don't you see your color's wrong?

You've been there for too long, I see it going on

You've been faking trying to be my friend

When all along you're out there trying to set a trend

I've, I've only got one word for you and every word is true

The color that suits you is blue

[INTRO: Oscar]

Hey-yeah… oh

Mmm…

[VERSE 2: Oscar (S.O.5)]

You're sleazy and two-faced

(I can't believe I missed)

What you were all about

(Trying to use me, but your game run out)

You can't take advantage of me

My eyes are open now, trying to use me to get in my crowd

You're all about the hype

(‘Cause you see me on TV)

Two weeks later, taking my name

(You are the one to blame)

Then you try and dress like me

Talk like me (Are you crazy?)

Why are you trying to claim?

For you, I've got one name

[PRE-CHORUS: S.O.5 (Cyrus)]

Blue

(That's all you do, play with people's minds)

(Two-faced, I wasn't blind)

Blue

(You are a fool cause you lost me)

(I thought that we were cool)

[CHORUS 2: S.O.5 (ad-libs: Marcel)]

Blue and that is deep, I can't be asked

Blue and that is you, and that's too long

Blue, don't you see your color's wrong?

You've been there for too long, I see it going on

You've been faking trying to be my friend

When all along you're out there trying to set a trend

I've, I've only got one word for you and every word is true

The color that suits you is blue

[RAP: Wally (TJ) {ad-libs: Oscar}]

You think you're too heavy

Trying to mess, don't mess with me

Can't you see that your game's run out?

In the beginning, all you did was doubt

(Didn't know that I'd catch your game)

(Couldn't fit in my world anyway)

Now if you don't know, I may give you a clue

You're lame, you're a joke

Let the fellas take a stroke of the skit that you are

(Use the fellas for the fun, use me for my what?)

And she thought you would scar

(Boy no, I'm selling records)

(Got no time for the haters)

(Got them shook up with my lyrics)

(When I'm fluffn' with my digits)

(Wanna hate me, wanna be me)

Got me vexed, got me so angry

Cause I'm doing my dream

Don't screw so blue

[DOUBLE-CHORUS: S.O.5 (ad-libs: Marcel)]

Blue and that is deep, I can't be asked

Blue and that is you, and that's too long

Blue, don't you see your color's wrong?

You've been there for too long, I see it going on

You've been faking trying to be my friend

When all along you're out there trying to set a trend

I've, I've only got one word for you and every word is true

The color that suits you is

Blue and that is deep, I can't be asked

Blue and that is you, and that's too long

Blue, don't you see your color's wrong?

You've been there for too long, I see it going on

You've been faking trying to be my friend

When all along you're out there trying to set a trend

I've, I've only got one word for you and every word is true

The color that suits you is blue

Track 5: Hold on My Heart (https://youtu.be/iG_-m-mBn-g?si=2B0Yc-FayETNTcyO)

Foreshadowing Cyrus’s love for house music, this song is about love as captivity—romantic panic dressed like a fairytale. This is one of their most theatrical early demos. The narrator is caught—in love, in obsession, in emotional surrender. It’s dramatic on purpose: “prisoner,” “no escape,” “fate,” “fairytale.” It tells the story of someone who thought they were strong until affection made them vulnerable. It’s classic young-romance intensity, but with a wink—like they know they’re being extra and they commit anyway. Cyrus basically leads nearly the entire song, with the exception of the very first verse, which is all Wally (as well as the very faint spoken portion of verse 2 when he repeats Cyrus’ line, “There’s no escape”).

[INTRO: S.O.5]

Love's got a hold on my heart

[VERSE 1: Wally]

I'm calling out, won't somebody out there hear my S.O.5?

Throw me a lifeline please, and save me

There's no doubt

Baby, you took me prisoner, I confess

When you crossed my defenses and captured my heart

[CHORUS: Cyrus (S.O.5)]

And now it's too late

To put up a fight

I thought I was strong but as hard as I try

(Can't break away)

(Darling, there's no way out)

(Nothing can help me now)

(Love's got a hold on my heart)

[VERSE 2: Cyrus (Spoken: Wally)]

There's no escape (There's no escape)

Now I'm like a damoiseau in distress

Trapped in this fairytale forever

And no mistake

It's tragic but I'll have to face the truth, I guess

And live evermore resigned to my fate

[CHORUS: Cyrus (S.O.5)]

And now it's too late

To put up a fight

I thought I was strong but as hard as I try

(Can't break away)

(Darling, there's no way out)

(Nothing can help me now)

(Love's got a hold on my heart)

[POST-CHORUS: Cyrus (S.O.5)]

YEAH-YEAH!

(Love's got a hold on my heart)

[BRIDGE: Cyrus (S.O.5)]

Hold on my heart

Hold on my heart

(Love's got a hold on my)

(It's got a hold on my heart)

Oh-woah

Yeah, oh-woah

[CHORUS: Cyrus (S.O.5)]

And now it's too late

To put up a fight

I thought I was strong but as hard as I try

(Can't break away)

(Darling, there's no way out)

(Nothing can help me now)

(Love's got a hold on my heart)

[OUTRO: S.O.5 (Cyrus)]

Can't break away

Darling, there's no way out

Nothing can help me now

Love's got a hold on my heart

(Ooh-ooh)

Love's got a hold on my heart

Track 6: Roller Coaster (https://youtu.be/dMnCaA9pVW0?si=Q9NKWASKCXNvaWy1)

Childhood adventure as flirting, danger, and imagination. This song feels like kids trying to make a love song without being “grown”—so it becomes an amusement-park metaphor. It’s playful and cinematic: getting lost, scraped knees, climbing trees, “touch the sky.” The pre-chorus is the crew inviting you into their world like a dare. The “roller coaster of love” is less about heartbreak and more about the thrill of letting yourself get swept up. Wally really stands out as the lead singer, leading both verses, and having small solo parts during the second half of the chorus, as well as singing beneath the rest of the group during the pre-chorus. As for the pre-chorus, each line is given to Cyrus, Oscar, TJ, and then Marcel. And Marcel ad-libs the rest of the song.

[VERSE 1: Wally]

Today's the day, we're out to play

And lost our way

It's always the same, oh, baby, now

Climbed the trees, swam the seven seas

We've grazed our knees, and no one's to blame, oh

[PRE-CHORUS: Cyrus (Wally) {Oscar} *TJ* <Marcel>]

Come and sit beside us

We'll give you such a thrill (Just a game)

{We're not nice, we're cool as ice}

{We'll give you quite a chill} (Go insane)

*Let your imagination take over on this ride*

<Out of sight, alright>

<Hold on tight!>

[CHORUS: S.O.5 (Wally)]

Come on

Come on

Get it on

We're ridin' in a rollercoaster

Come on (Don't wanna wait for you no more)

Come along (Don't wanna wait for you no more)

Get it on

We're ridin' in a rollercoaster

(Of love)

[VERSE 2: Wally]

So don't be shy, you'll soon be high

We'll touch the sky

You'd never believe, oh, baby now

'Round and 'round, but don't look down

We won't be found, you'd better believe it

[PRE-CHORUS: Cyrus (Wally) {Oscar} *TJ* <Marcel>]

Come and sit beside us

We'll give you such a thrill (Just a game)

{We're not nice, we're cool as ice}

{We'll give you quite a chill} (Go insane)

*Let your imagination take over on this ride*

<Out of sight, alright>

<Hold on tight!>

[CHORUS: S.O.5 (Wally) {ad-libs: Marcel}]

Come on

Come on

Get it on

We're ridin' in a rollercoaster

Come on (Don't wanna wait for you no more)

Come along (Don't wanna wait for you no more)

Get it on

We're ridin' in a rollercoaster

(Of love)

[CHORUS 2: S.O.5 (Wally) {ad-libs: Marcel}]

Come on, come on

Come on, come on

Get it on

We're ridin' in a rollercoaster

Come on

Come on

Get it on

We're ridin' in a rollercoaster

(Of love)

(Don't wanna wait for you no more)

(Don't wanna wait for you no more)

Get it on

We're ridin' in a rollercoaster

(Of love)

(Of love)

(Of love)

(Of love)

(Of love)

Track 7: On the Run (https://youtu.be/W5N7k-0-8iQ?si=600J9tuTjAPycxxO)

The fear of growing up—disguised as a party song. Under the upbeat energy is a real anxiety: curfews, being “too young,” wanting to hang with older kids, feeling like your childhood is ending too fast. Cyrus’s verse is classic FOMO and pressure. Oscar’s verse questions why age rules apply to feelings. The chorus is the emotional center: I’m still trying to make this last forever. It’s the song version of looking at your friends and realizing you’ll never be this age again. Wally leads the hype-friendly intro with soft vocals, Cyrus leads the first verse, Oscar leads the second verse, and Oscar and Wally sing in a call and response style during the Break. Wally also ad-libs the final pre-chorus and double chorus.

[INTRO: Wally (S.O.5)]

Time to turn up the fun ya'll fun ya'll

Shake it, shake it, shake it, shake it

Space Otters on the run ya'll run ya'll

Shake it, shake it, shake it shake it

(Time to turn up the fun ya'll fun ya'll)

Shake it, shake it, shake it, shake it

(Space Otters on the run ya'll run ya'll)

Shake it, shake it, shake it shake it

[VERSE 1: Cyrus]

They say that I'm too young to groove and my curfew is 12

But I don't wanna stay inside while they enjoy themselves

My friends are talking, feel like I'm missing out

On what they're doing, not much longer

[PRE-CHORUS: S.O.5]

Bounce up and down with my older friends

The over 18's where the party never ends

It's not like the fellas ain’t got their problems

So at least 19 they pushing their Benz

Never too old, can you work and live with that

Young and free and I want it like that

And I ain't giving it up

[CHORUS: S.O.5]

It's hard growing up so fast

Trying hard to make my childhood last forever

On the run now

I don’t wanna think about that past

I'm still trying to make this last forever

On the run now

[VERSE 2: Oscar]

They say that I'm too young to have more than just friends

But if I was to meet someone, would you stop me?

I ain't too young to understand

You know the game, I'm just saying

[PRE-CHORUS: S.O.5]

Bounce up and down with my older friends

The over 18's where the party never ends

It's not like the fellas ain’t got their problems

So at least 19 they pushing their Benz

Never too old, can you work and live with that

Young and free and I want it like that

And I ain't giving it up

[CHORUS: S.O.5]

It's hard growing up so fast

Trying hard to make my childhood last forever

On the run now

I don’t wanna think about that past

I'm still trying to make this last forever

On the run now

[BREAK: Oscar (Wally)]

It's hard growing up so fast

Trying hard to make my childhood last forever

(On the run)

(Don’t you know we’re on the run?)

I don’t wanna think about that past

I'm still trying to make this last forever

(On the run)

(Don’t you know we’re on the run?)

Young and free and I want it like that

And I ain't giving it up

[CHORUS: S.O.5 (ad-libs: Wally)]

It's hard growing up so fast

Trying hard to make my childhood last forever

On the run now

I don’t wanna think about that past

I'm still trying to make this last forever

On the run now

It's hard growing up so fast

Trying hard to make my childhood last forever

On the run now

I don’t wanna think about that past

I'm still trying to make this last forever

On the run now

Track 8: Stay with Me (Cover) (https://youtu.be/x11jTmVM9rg?si=IIwBWx5M30YylbfX)

This hauntingly beautiful cover becomes an early S.O.5 emotional statement: stop searching everywhere else—I’m right here. It’s devotion, but also gentle intervention: you don’t need lonely people or frantic town chaos, you need stability. In the S.O.5 context, it hits like more than romance. It almost sounds like a friend begging a friend not to self-destruct. TJ leads the first verse and first pre-chorus. Wally, Oscar, and Cyrus take over the second verse, call-and-response. TJ returns for the second pre-chorus. Marcel sings the bridge, and leads the second chorus. TJ closes the song by repeating the outro until fadeout.

[VERSE 1: TJ]

Baby, you can't go on

Wondering where you belong

Let me help you find yourself

'Cause you don't need nobody else

[PRE-CHORUS: TJ]

Aw, you should be right here with me, babe

Instead of going around this frantic town, stop messin' around

With all the lonely, lonely people out there, no one to care

Won't you come and stay with me because I love you so

[VERSE 2: Wally (Oscar) {Cyrus}]

You tell me you love me so

(Why do you have to go?)

{Everything you'll ever need}

(You will find right here with me)

[PRE-CHORUS: TJ]

Aw, you should be right here with me, babe

Instead of going around this frantic town, stop messin' around

With all the lonely, lonely people out there, no one to care

Won't you come and stay with me because I love you so

[CHORUS 1: S.O.5]

Stay with me, stay with me

Stay with me, stay with me

Stay with me, stay with me

Stay with me, stay with me

Stay with me

[BRIDGE: Marcel]

Aw, you should be with me, babe

Aw, you shouldn't go nowhere

And all I'm trying to tell you, babe

Happiness is waiting for you

[CHORUS 2: Marcel (S.O.5)]

So won't you stay with me?

(Stay with me)

So won't you stay with me?

(Stay with me)

I got what you need

(Stay with me)

So won't you stay with me?

(Stay with me)

Don't go nowhere, baby

(Stay with me)

Don't go, no no

(Stay with me)

Oh, I got what you need

(Stay with me)

So won't you stay with me?

(Stay with me)

Hey, yeah

[OUTRO: TJ]

Don't go, don't go

I love you so

Don't go, don't go

I love you so

Don't go, don't go

I love you so

Don't go, don't go

I love you so

Don't go, don't go

Track 9: All I Want (https://youtu.be/sEecGdMpcoU?si=Ob0qtwAmf8tuZmSK)

This UK-garage track is the most “coming-of-age pop” track on ODEM. The narrator wants closeness but refuses to disappear into it: “I want to be with you, but I have to live my own life too.” The verses feel dreamy and metaphor-heavy—mirror imagery, rivers of dreams, Midas touch—like a kid trying to articulate ambition and attachment in the same breath. The snap-your-fingers hook turns anxiety into magic: “the world is nuts, but I’m okay.” TJ raps the intro while Wally does the spoken parts beneath TJ. TJ also sings the final line of the chorus (“Firing it up and away we go”). Wally sings the first verse and second verses. Marcel sings the pre-choruses while TJ raps his parts within those pre-choruses. Marcel sings the bridge. TJ raps the second bridge. And Wally and Marcel each have solos on the break.

[RAP INTRO: TJ (Spoken: Wally)]

Roll call!

S with the P to the A-C-E Otters

(TJ)

With the ones named Marcel, Wally, Cyrus, Oscar, baby!

(All I want is to be with you)

It’s time to rock the party

UK Garage with S.O.5!

[CHORUS: S.O.5 (TJ)]

All I want

Is to be with you

But I just got to live, live my own life too

All I need to know

That the world is nuts

Snap my fingers

And everything is fine

That's all

(Firing it up and away we go)

[VERSE 1: Wally]

Sitting looking in the mirror

Like Alice through the looking glass

Life's a never ending journey be careful not to go too fast

Sometimes I can't help myself from falling in too deep

I know it may be hard to tell your love is calling me

[PRE-CHORUS: Marcel (Rap: TJ)]

Oh-ah, all I want to be, oh-ah

(And away we go)

Oh-ah, all I want is

(Gonna get on the mic, gonna make you shine)

[CHORUS: S.O.5 (TJ)]

All I want

Is to be with you

But I just got to live, live my own life too

All I need to know

That the world is nuts

Snap my fingers

And everything is fine

That's all

(Firing it up and away we go)

[VERSE 2: Wally]

Floating on a river of dreams

On a magic carpet ride

Take control of my destiny

I know it's just a matter of time

That I will find that Midas touch

And everything will turn to gold

It would mean nothing without you here to hold

[PRE-CHORUS: Marcel (Rap: TJ)]

Oh-ah, all I want to be, oh-ah

(And away we go)

Oh-ah, all I want is

(Gonna get on the mic, gonna make you shine)

[CHORUS: S.O.5]

All I want

Is to be with you

But I just got to live, live my own life too

All I need to know

That the world is nuts

Snap my fingers

And everything is fine

[BRIDGE: Marcel]

I can read it in the stars

That what I want is who you are

I will lay my hair down for you

A thousand times to show you

That when you reach me at the top

I'm gonna give you all I got

And wherever we go our hearts will follow

[RAP: TJ]

It's a otter thing, stuff that we bring

No one to burn, let the journey begin

We're the new thing, we're in chorus we sing

Quick off the mark, ring a ding ding ding

In a mix with a bag of tricks

Feel the vibe with the one friendship

Move to the beat it's about music

Roll through these tracks with fresh tactics

[CHORUS: S.O.5 (TJ)]

All I want

Is to be with you

But I just got to live, live my own life too

All I need to know

That the world is nuts

Snap my fingers

And everything is fine

All I want

Is to be with you

But I just got to live, live my own life too

All I need to know

That the world is nuts

Snap my fingers

And everything is fine

That's all

(Firing it up and away we go)

[BREAK: Wally (S.O.5) {Marcel}]

Yes, I want to be with you (woah)

I want to live my own life too (woah)

And I got to have it all (woah)

{That's all, that's all, that's all} (woah)

{I'm gonna snap my fingers} (woah)

{Everything is fine} (woah)

{Want to have it all} (woah)

Track 10: Crazy (https://youtu.be/lZesrA2nnDY?si=H4__VFc8eekan4n-)

The whole premise is social pressure: “they say I’m crazy.” People whisper. People assume. People draw conclusions. And the narrator basically shrugs: “maybe I am—when it comes to you.” It’s a romance song, but it’s also about refusing to be embarrassed. The best part is the escalation: by the end, it stops being defensive and becomes celebratory—like the song decides that “crazy” is just passion with confidence. TJ, Wally, Oscar, and Cyrus are each given the spotlight equally. And then Marcel takes over for the rest of the song, taking us to church with his powerful vocals.

[INTRO: S.O.5 (Spoken: TJ)]

WOOO!!!!

What they say

They say I'm crazy when it comes to you

No matter what they say

No words I know can keep me away from your love

They say I'm crazy

(This is why)

[VERSE 1: TJ (S.O.5)]

They see me walking (They see me walking)

Down this lonely avenue

They see me talking (Ooh, they see me walking)

When I'm the only one in view

(They say I'm crazy, oh oh)

Well I'm not crazy (oh, oh)

(Maybe a little crazy)

Ey, when it comes to you

[VERSE 2: Wally (S.O.5)]

I hear them whisper (Hear them whisper)

Certainly, she's lost her mind

And draw conclusions (Ooh, draw conclusions)

On any reasons they can find

(They say I'm crazy, oh oh)

Well I'm not crazy (oh, oh)

(Maybe a little crazy)

When it comes to you

(They say I'm crazy, oh oh)

Well I'm not crazy (oh, oh)

(Maybe a little crazy)

When it comes to you

You…

[CHORUS 1: S.O.5 (Oscar)]

When it comes to you

(All others just a waste of time)

When it comes to you

(There is nothing more on my mind)

When it comes to you

(I'm just in love)

I'm just in love

(And a little) crazy

(When it comes to you)

(Yes I'm just crazy) crazy

(When it comes to you)

[VERSE 3: Cyrus (S.O.5)]

They've come to notice (They've come to notice)

That it's a smile I always wear

And those who notice (Ooh, and those who notice)

That when I'm down it's still there

(They say I'm crazy, oh oh)

Oh, but I'm not crazy (oh, oh)

(Maybe a little… CRAZY)

HEY! when it comes to you

[CHORUS 2: S.O.5 (Marcel)]

When it comes to you

Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh

(All others just a waste of time)

When it comes to you

Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh

(There is nothing more on my mind)

When it comes to you

(I'm just in love)

I'm just in love

(And a little) crazy

(HEY! When it comes to you)

[CHORUS 3: S.O.5 (Marcel)]

When it comes to you

Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh

(All of my problems seem to fade)

When it comes to you

Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh

(All of those nights turn to day)

When it comes to you

(I'm just in love)

I'm just in love

(And a little) crazy

(Ooh, when it comes to you)

(Yes I'm a little crazy, HEY!)

(When it comes to you, you, YEAH!)

[POST-CHORUS 1: S.O.5 (Marcel)]

No matter what they say

No words I know can keep me away from your love

(They say I'm crazy)

(When it comes to you)

[VERSE 4: S.O.5 (Marcel)]

They say I'm crazy

(But I'm not crazy)

Maybe a little crazy

(When it comes to you)

They say I'm crazy

(But I'm not crazy)

Maybe a little crazy

(Hey, when it comes to you)

(Crazy)

When it comes to you

WOO!

[BREAK: S.O.5 (Marcel)]

WOOO!!!!

What they say

(I’m crazy)

They say I'm crazy (When it)

When it comes to you (YEAH!)

(THEY SAY I’M CRAZY!)

(WHEN IT) When it

(COMES TO YOU!)

[POST-CHORUS 2: S.O.5 (ad-libs: Marcel)]

No matter what they say

No words I know can keep me away from your love

They say I'm crazy

When it comes to you

Nothing I can do

Will ever come between me and you

‘Cause I’m in love

They say I'm crazy

When it comes to you

Track 11: You’ll Never Stand Alone (Cover) (https://youtu.be/KPVydMFVZoY?si=iy1u9VHXQV9RiGHD)

This track (a song that Marcel sang at his elementary school talent show (and then to his future groupmates), and that became the song that defined S.O.5’s reputation as a safe space) is bigger than a cover—it’s S.O.5’s promise in song form. Marcel sings it like a vow: “when you can’t see past shadows, when you can’t find strength, you have a home here.” The second verse turning into a shared relay of voices makes it feel communal—like each member steps forward to say, “I’m here too.” It’s not just comfort. It’s safety. It’s the first time you hear S.O.5 as a sanctuary. Marcel is the king of this song, even with his four friends each singing a line during the second verse.

[VERSE 1: Marcel]

If there's a time when the tears should fill your eyes

And you can't see past the shadows

To the sun on the other side

Don't despair, because there always will be someone there

Don't lose faith, love won't let you lose your way

Because you

[CHORUS: Marcel]

You'll never stand alone

I'll be standing by

I'll keep you from the cold

I'll hold you when you cry

I'll be there to be strong

When you can't find the strength inside

And you, you'll always have a home

In these arms of mine

You'll never stand alone

Love is standing by

[VERSE 2: TJ (Oscar) {Cyrus} *Wally*]

If there's a day when the rain should find your heart

(And you're cold and tired and lonely)

(And this world has you in the dark)

{Don't be scared, you can just reach for me and I'll be there}

*Don't lose hope, love will see you through, you know*

*Because you*

[CHORUS: S.O.5 (ad-libs: Marcel)]

You'll never stand alone

I'll be standing by

I'll keep you from the cold

I'll hold you when you cry

I'll be there to be strong

When you can't find the strength inside

And you, you'll always have a home

In these arms of mine

You'll never stand alone

Love is standing by

[BRIDGE: Marcel (S.O.5)]

Standing by to lift you above all the hurt and pain, oh yeah, oh

Standing by to carry you through all the (Tears and rain)

Reach for me

(I'll be with you)

Oh, reach for me, babe

(I'll see you through)

See, I'll be the one to hold you

The one to show you that you

[CHORUS: S.O.5 (ad-libs: Marcel)]

You'll never stand alone

I'll be standing by

I'll keep you from the cold

I'll hold you when you cry

I'll be there to be strong

When you can't find the strength inside

And you, you'll always have a home

In these arms of mine

You'll never stand alone

Love is standing by

[Outro: Marcel]

Oh yeah, love is standing by…
